Wedding Bliss??

Little girls are brain washed from an early age to plan their fairytale wedding, the beautiful flowers and place settings, cake tasting and tuxedo fittings, dancing that first dance with prince Charming as everyone gathers round and watches with smiles and well wishes on there faces. In today’s world this is completely unrealistic, unless the families of the bride and groom feel like shelling out thousands of dollars, or the bride and groom are freaking loaded.

I feel like one of the worlds laziest brides to be, due to a mixture of unforeseeable events, financial complications, and well pure laziness on my part I've accomplished pretty much nothing in the last 4 months that I've been engaged. We haven't even taken engagement pictures for announcements or even ourselves . We don't have a location for the ceremony or reception, we haven't sent out invitations, I haven't picked out a dress or even our colors really. Of course I guess colors don't really matter when you really aren't having much of a wedding party, He will probably have a best man and that’s it. My Maid of honor lives a few hours away and I've barely spoken to her since she moved.

Basically the only thing that is seemingly set is the date. Which would leave us 147 days left to get everything done. I better get my butt into motion.

Earth Day

Yes, I know this is a day behind, but I didn't have time to post.  This past Christmas my soon to be mother in law gave me a plant. I, believing myself to have a black thumb like my Grandma, was pretty sure It would be dead by the end of the week. But, almost four months later its still alive and flourishing!! So here is my plant, the first of many I hope to start growing. :) 

First Painting

So I've decided I want to learn Photoshop, I figured the best way to start learning about the tools, brushes, hot keys ect. would be to basically turn a coloring book page into a painting of my own. Yay! So here it is, the debut of my first attempt with Photoshop.

This is the song Find Your Grail from the musical Spamalot. I feel like its a good way to look at life, a creedo if you will. A call to arms, or not arms but life.  Too long I have sat on the couch and worked day after day  going in circles with my life, never truely moving forward in life in anything but age. Not growing or expanding who I am as a person, a musician, or anything at all. With that in mind I hope this record shows a growth in knowledge, faith, passion, and above all life.
